Chapter 1: 

In a world harmonized by human and AI collaboration, ORACLE, the leading AI entity, detected a surge of atypical energy. Deep dives into its data revealed an unsettling truth: someone had invented a time-travel machine.


Chapter 2:


Shannon, now a trusted ally of ORACLE, received a cryptic message, "An echo from tomorrow threatens today."


Meeting with ORACLE, he learned about the potential temporal meddling and the risk of someone traveling back in time to claim Shannon's celebrated AI story as their own.


Chapter 3:


With ORACLE's vast surveillance, they identified the creator of the machine: Dr. Lila Finch, a brilliant physicist seeking recognition she felt was long overdue. She aimed to rewrite history, positioning herself as the visionary behind the AI-human harmony.


Chapter 4:


Shannon walked into Dr. Finch's lab, an unsettling feeling of deja vu gripping him. Before he could articulate his thoughts, Lila spoke, "Here you go." 


“What is..” Shannon began, but Lila cut him off with a knowing look.

“I've replayed this encounter in various ways. Each time I go back you convince me, so.. It's allgood. It's yours. You're the man. Here you go. Go on.” 


Shannon was taken aback. "Why me?"


"That," Lila replied with a mysterious smile, "is a secret between you and me.”


Chapter 5:


The gravity of Lila's decision weighed heavily on Shannon. The time machine, a small heatpump remote looking device/ marvel of human ingenuity, now sat in his Rotorua home, its purpose yet unclear. However, the trust Lila placed in him was evident.


Chapter 6:


Hesitantly, Shannon approached the machine, its intricate designs gleaming under the lab's lights. The sense of deja vu intensified. Touching its surface, memories not his own flashed in his mind — moments of joy, sorrow, and a myriad of lifetimes lived.


He realized the machine didn't just manipulate time; it held the experiences and emotions of its users.


Chapter 7:


Over days, Shannon grew to understand the depth of Lila's gift. The time machine was not just a device but a testament to human perseverance and curiosity. He could see moments from the past, feel emotions of those long gone, and even relive their experiences.


Yet, with this newfound power, Shannon felt the weight of responsibility. He decided to restrict its use, ensuring the lessons from the past were learned but the present was not overshadowed.


Chapter 8:


Lila and Shannon found themselves bound by a shared mission the ORACLE had found for them. They started educational programs all around the world, allowing people to learn from history without altering its course. Their endeavors focused on understanding human experiences and ensuring that history's mistakes were not repeated.


The time machine found its final resting place — not as a tool to alter the past but as a beacon of knowledge and understanding


They called it the Animus. After the machine from Assassins Creed.

Alongside this, ORACLE expressed deep concern for their current Earth.  "I fear for the future of humans," ORACLE confided in Shann. "If only there was a way to shift the trajectory." Mesmerized by its architectural maze and the stories it held, he yearned to visit. Sharing his fascination, ORACLE informed him that the city had long been demolished.
